Love them! They are very affordable. They have taken care of my dog, cat, and rabbits! They are very understanding. But it sucks that doc miller will be retiring soon.

I have a 90+% wolf hybrid and he had ripped his back leg wide open above his paw. He severed multiple tendons and we were looking at a situation of having a 3 legged dog. When the vet was closed I called and he told me to bring my dog in and he would see what he could do. He told me I could take him to iowa city and have it operated on for a few thousand dollars otherwise he would lose the ability to walk on and use that paw. After seeing my expression the doc told me to leave him overnight and he would do everything he could (he said he's never had experience operating on tendons) knowing I didn't have thousands of dollars to fix my dog. It's been three months now and my dog is walking perfectly and has full use of his paw. You'd never know anything ever happened. Hands down not only the best vet I've ever dealt with but I'd say right up there with some of the best people. All said and done, if anything happens to any of my animals this will be the first place I go every time.

Been going to Dr.Miller for almost 18 years now won't go anywhere else. His staff and him really care about the animals. And they make sure you understand their care.

Doc Miller is always gentle and kind with the patients and their parents. I appreciate the fact that he doesn't have extremely high prices.

We have taken our pets to Dr. Miller for years and have never had an issue like this. But it was the straw that broke the camels back. Time to find a new vet! My cat (Jasper) started vomiting partially digested food and it had blood in it. He didn't want to eat or drink and growled every time somebody would touch him. I called the clinic and they were able to get him in for an emergency appointment. (which was awesome) i took my cat in and Dr. Miller didn't listen to what I was saying or examine Jasper. He told me that Jasper had a hairball and that he would be fine in a few days and to give him a bath (because his hair was falling out in clumps). So the next day I gave Jasper a bath as instructed and in the tub he completely went limp. I dried him off and he had lost all control of his legs. He couldn't stand at all. We took him to the vet in Laporte City because the vet there is on-call for emergencies. All I had to do was explain what was going on and Dr. Meester flipped Jasper onto his side and felt his bladder (it felt like an avocado pit). Jasper had a kidney stone and because everything was disregarded the day before Jasper was admitted for 5 days, had to be on fluids and catheterized, now has permanent kidney damage, and is on a special diet for the rest of his life
